Salary: Up to $90K (DOE)

Relocation: LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY.

Working with the CFO, Controller and accounting staff, this hands-on accounting position is responsible for the day-to-day general accounting functions within the accounting and finance group. The Senior Staff Accountant will maintain the Fixed Asset System, maintain supporting schedules for prepaid and deferred expenses and monitor activities of a subsidiary company. In addition, the Senior Staff Accountant will provide timely and accurate account reconciliation and supporting schedules as well as ad hoc projects in support of business operations.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

ALL APPLICANTS MUST HAVE:

* A minimum of 3-6 Years as a Senior Accountant/Staff Auditor/Senior Auditor.

* Solid understanding of GAAP and ability to perform research on latest authoritative pronouncements.

* MS Office version 2003 or newer.

* Have used a modern ERP system such as SAP, Oracle, BAAN.

* Solid understanding of Internal Controls.

* Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to multi-task.

* Excellent written and verbal skills.

* Additional Desired Experience

* Small to mid-size company Controller/Accounting Manager

* Sage FAS version 2008.1.1

* BAAN version 4c4

* Hyperion or similar financial reporting package

* Understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)

* Sarbanes-Oxley Experience

Education:

** Bachelors/Masters Degree in Accounting

** Professional Certifications: CMA or CIA or CPA candidates HIGHLY preferred.
