Job Description:
1) Manage capital expenditures functions
2) Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports
3) Maintain accounting policies and procedures to ensure accurate and reliable data necessary for financial reporting
4) Supervise up to 2 intermediate accountants
5) Maintain fixed asset sub ledger for all properties ensuring accurate coding of all capital expenditures to appropriate G/L account and project number
6) Reconcile monthly change activity for capital expenditures in CREMS (G/L) vs. Purchasing Plus (on-line procurement system)
7) Process monthly depreciation for all asset categories
8) Maintain project numbers in both Purchasing Plus and CREMS
9) Prepare monthly, quarterly and yearly schedules for financial statement notes and MD&A reporting
10) Supervise & train staff
11) Prepare monthly actual vs. budget variance reporting for senior management
12) Maintain attendance & vacation schedules of staff
13) Manage staff issues & prepare annual reviews
14) Present any suggested procedure & policy changes
15) Liaise with the auditors and their requirements

Job Requirements:
1) CMA, CGA designation or close to completion
2) 3 – 5 years of relevant capital expenditure and supervisory experience
3) Excellent knowledge of GAAP
4) Superb organizational skills with an ability to multi-task
5) Deadline-oriented, flexible
6) Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
