Job Description:
1) Review, code, reconcile and process A/P check requests and vendor invoices for projects under development
2) Ensure that invoices are within the terms of the relevant contract and also secure proper approvals
3) Maintain contract commitments by communicating with the Construction Department regarding contract-billing discrepancies
4) Prepare monthly draws for construction projects
5) Assemble, reconcile and prepare monthly loan funding requests for lender submittal, adhering to contract loan documents
6) Handle monthly and quarterly financial reporting, including reconciliation and presentation to partners and lenders for projects under development
7) Prepare return calculations and equity reconciliations
8) Handle corporate cash receipts and billings
9) Prepare the annual budget
10) Assist with new entity administration
11) Maintain monthly journal entries as well as manage account and bank reconciliations
12) Handle special projects as requested

Job Requirements:
1) Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
2) Superb technical aptitude and a desire to understand the construction accounting process
3) Good MS Office skills
4) Enthusiastic, creative and flexible individual
5) Ability to work under pressure and coordinate numerous activities and groups of people to achieve maximum efficiency
6) Strong interpersonal, oral and written communications skills required
