Job Description:
1) Support the CFO role in financing properties, public reporting, preparing public reporting, MD&A, AIF, press releases, and ad hoc reporting
2) Prepare tax returns support for tax consultants and nominee returns
3) Work to integrate reporting by Controller and Asset Management Group into documents
4) Prepare first draft of MD&A, AIF, press releases, and other public reporting documents (as required)
5) Ensure all information is referenced and supported
6) Prepare acquisition/disposition of accounting treatment such as purchase price equation and mark to market of debt
7) Prepare financial statements and back ups to support tax returns to consultants that are preparing the returns
8) Oversee model acquisitions and debt acquisitions
9) Prepare tax projections with CFO and tax consultants
10) Research accounting and securities’ rules as it affects public disclosure, acquisitions, dispositions, etc.
11) Coordinate activities with the Controller
12) Prepare summaries, tracking, and feedback (as necessary)
13) Coordinate preparation, disbursement, and follow up of financing packages for debt financing
14) Interact with Controller Group, Asset Management, Legal, property managers and President

Job Requirements:
1) Degree (4 year) with Accounting designation
2) 3 – 5 years of experience in the areas mentioned above (public reporting or audit preferred)
