Corporate CFO / Controller - Financial Management
Location: Irvine, CA
Salary: $70,000 - $100,000

We are seeking an experienced CFO / Controller to work directly with the organizations principals in managing a corporate turnaround plan for the organization.

The ideal individual would have at least 8+ years experience working as a Controller in a construction, environmental, and/or engineering organization overseeing all aspects of financial operations to include:

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage all day-to-day activities related to finance, including A/R, A/P, cash flow, forecasting, etc.• Supervise accounting staff; train personnel in financial reporting procedures• Establish controls to manage financial books/records• Prepare monthly financial statements and forecasts• Manage enforcement and maintenance of classification of accounts• Manage and compile reports, statements, statistics or other data • Responsible for accuracy and detail of general ledger through trial balance• Ensure accuracy of all input/output of system through verification of data transmitted• Ensure accuracy of payroll and associated reports • Verify, analyze and audit accuracy of all vouchers, drafts, reports and accounts: A/R and A/P• Manage and direct the preparation of aging reports for A/R and administer collection procedures for delinquent accounts

Requirements:

• Have 5+ years experience as an Assistant Controller/Controller• Experience in project cost accounting• Proficiency in Deltek Vision software required• Demonstrated analytical ability• Excellent interpersonal skills, including strong verbal/written communication skills• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with emphasis in Accounting required; CPA or MBA preferred
