Senior Accountant

Overview
Senior Accountant will be a core part of the Finance team. The position will report directly to the Controller and will interact with all members of Finance.

Essential Functions
• Perform Inter-Company Accounting, analysis and reconciliations
• Actively participate in Month End-Close process
• General Ledger Analysis, reviews and reconciliations
• Prepare daily P&L
• Responsible for the accurate and timely processing and disbursement of vendor obligation and ensures the integrity of the financial accounting system
• Process all aspects of Accounts Payable
• Assist in the development, documentation, and maintenance of accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
• Facilitate and provide support for year-end, interim, and other audit work, as required

Job Requirements:
Qualifications/Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Economics or related field
• Three to five years related professional experience
• SAP functions knowledge preferred
• Proficiency in MS Excel required
• Knowledge and understanding of GAAP
• Self-motivated/critical thinker
• Detail-oriented professional with ability to handle complex reporting while meeting firm deadlines, sometimes with short turnaround
• Flexible in working hours
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Fast learner, and ability to focus on the overall goals while still working with details
• Bilingual (Spanish / English) preferred
• Inventory Valuation or mark-to-market experience
