Job Description:
1) Maintain records of buildings and other property
2) Conduct periodic inventories to keep records current and ensure that equipment is properly maintained
3) Distribute cost of maintenance to proper accounts
4) Examine records to determine that acquisition, sale, retirement, and other entries have been made
5) Prepare monthly statements of appreciated and depreciated values
6) Summarize statements on annual basis for income tax purposes
7) Prepare statements for amortization of buildings and equipment
8) Develop and recommend property accounting methods to provide effective controls

Job Requirements:
1) CMA, CGA, or CA designation
2) Minimum 5 years of full cycle property accounting experience for a large university campus (3 separate buildings with 7 tenants)
3) Experience in recoveries, gross rents, construction accounting, rent rolls as well as analysis and interpretation of leases
4) Experience in financial statements, cash flows, and budgets
5) Dynamic, young, up and comer as well as a self-starter
6) Fluent in French and English (oral and written)
7) Ability to understand and convert French documents to English
