PRIMARY OBJECTIVES

Thomson Reuters Professional is kicking off an initiative to build and implement a configuration management database (CMDB). We are hiring a Technology Manager to lead this initiative and once the CMDB is built and implemented, own responsibility for the day-to-day operations.

This position has the responsibility of planning and executing project activities and resources as it relates to building, implementing and maintaining a CMDB. The Manager will work closely with an assigned Project Manager to co-lead the project including selection of tool, designing of the process, and managing all components of the IT infrastructure by identifying and working with each business unit to assist them during the project design and implementation phase for CMDB input. This person will also evolve existing processes and introduce new procedures and processes in the Infrastructure department as they relate to Configuration Management.
