Job Description:
The candidate will maintain, upgrade, and develop the customer’s EMS. The EMS consists of a set of integrated network, server, and workstation management tools that run on a variety of hardware and operating systems including Dell and Sun Servers running Solaris, Windows 200X Server, and LINUX. The tools include:

· HP OpenView NNM

· CiscoWorks

· Cisco Secure ACS

· RSA Authentication Manager

· NMIS

· Opnet

· NetQoS

· GEM

· NetCool

· NetIQ

· SMS

· Ultrasound

· EPO

· Anitgen

· Veritas

· Navisphere

· Dell OpenManage

· Oracle, and

· SQL Server

The candidate will be required to administer the EMS applications and the servers that the applications run on. In addition, the candidate may have to develop plans to upgrade the applications and deploy new features of the applications and execute those plans. The candidate must have Solaris system administration experience as well as experience in administering at least one major network or server management application. Experience in creating UNIX shell scripts is also required. Candidates with additional certifications such as MCSE or a management tool certification are preferred
