Currently, Chubb is seeking a Senior Property Underwriter for the Los Angeles, CA office.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
This senior level underwriting position will be responsible for handling a $7-9 million property renewal book, in addition to a minimum of $1.5 million in new business goals. Individual will be responsible for the growth and profitability of the assigned book of business and will be expected to travel locally and regionally.

Candidate must have at least 5-7 years underwriting experience handling larger middle market commercial insurance risks in the property arena. Candidate will be required to review and evaluate new and renewal business in accordance with established underwriting guidelines in order to achieve department goals of profit, rate and growth.
This position requires an individual who possesses leadership skills with the ability to organize, lead and substantially contribute to diverse teams within the branch and CA region. The candidate should demonstrate success in the marketing and sales intangibles, negotiating, building strong relationships with customer, and also in providing exceptional customer service; has good communication skills with groups or one-on-one, and someone who can organize their work well and utilize multiple internal/external resources in an efficient manner. Candidate must be a team player and demonstrate they can work cohesively with service staff, loss control and claims
