Job Description:
Mass properties engineering support is required for completion of a database of estimated, calculated and actual data, weighing of parts and aircraft.
The Mass Properties Engineer is responsible for review of air vehicle drawings and data, analyze mass properties, prepare related mass properties data and enter into a mass properties database (MPDMS). Data will require tracking for each subsequent drawing or data release and assess maturation of aircraft. Adjacent analysis for overall aircraft weight and balance/center of gravity predictions will be required. This effort includes providing information and presentations with plans and specific recommendations to meet system weight and balance objectives to the customer and internal program office. This position will require monthly travel.

Requirements:
- 10 plus years experience with aircraft (helicopter) mass properties and weight management required including Experience with aircraft Product development and aircraft systems engineering processes and including
- Experience with system or sub-system development weight.
- A minimum of a DoD Secret Clearance with capability to obtain a Top Secret Clearance is required; Top Secret clearance is preferred.
- Mechanical Engineering specialty in mass properties.
