Job Description:
IT Project Manager-1061
This project manager role will be responsible for leading the project team in implementing the defined business requirements, managing the tasks required to develop web based training tools, allocation of resources, identifying and managing priorities, and coordinating the interaction with customers, users, work groups and stakeholders. This project manager will also follow a standard set of practices that ensure the integrity and quality of project artifacts. This role does not include system development or business analysis.

Job Requirements:
Requirements of the Project Manager
ć Extensive experience in managing successful, large-scale IT projects that include software analysis, design and programming, and implementation
ć Extensive experience using Microsoft Project to track and maintain projects
ć Ability to develop and maintain detailed project plans (work breakdown structures).
ć Extensive experience with meeting facilitation and documentation
ć Experience creating and presenting internal and external status reports and detailed status reports suitable for presentation to the legislature or steering committee
ć Ability to lead the project team and effectively conduct the project to meet project objectives
ć Experience in delivering the project in the agreed schedule, within the approved budget, time lines and other specified criteria
ć Experience in Web Tutorial Training
ć Strong communication and collaborative skills
ć Government, legislative or health industry project experience desired
ć Experience working with the Rational Unified Process desired
ć Experience in working in a Citrix environment
