Job Description:
Oversee the purchasing operation of this silicon manufacturing company. As Purchasing Manager you will be responsible for assuring that materials are received when needed; organizing the purchasing operations for efficiency and costs; leading the department into MRP practices using MAXX or a similar product; negotiating best pricing practices; tracking and reporting supplier performance; assuring compliance with all audit requirements; and participating on committees as needed. Job Requirements:
Bachelor degree required.
Required Skills: 2+ years of manufacturing purchasing experience; must have one or more years of supervisory experience; MRP; must have strong problem solving and negotiation skills; and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Skills: APICS or CPM certification.
