Job Description:
Position Description/Responsibilities:
Responsible for testing, analysis and acceptance of Composite Epoxy Prepreg materials and resins including:
„« Defining and directing testing for new product and material characterization.
„« Review and analysis of data for product and materials acceptance.
„« Certification of products to customer specifications.
„« Establishing and maintaining product properties database.
Education/Training:
„« Technical BS required with some emphasis on chemical materials. Composite Materials, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or Materials Engineering.
Experience:
„« 3-5 years in Composite or chemical materials testing, processing and analysis preferred. Experience in process, quality or product engineering with appropriate educational background would be considered.
Job Requirements:
„« Ability to understand specifications and test standards, direct testing and demonstrate compliance with requirements.
„« Ability to investigate complex problems, analyze data, determine cause and then establish and communicate effective action plans.
„« Excellent computer skills including word processing, spreadsheet, database and statistical process control applications.
„« Demonstrate pride in work performed, focusing on high degree of accuracy in testing and certification to customer requirements.
„« Willingness to take a hands on approach to the job including running required testing.
„« Work well in a team environment with willingness to assist others in areas of their responsibilities to ensure business objectives are met.
„« Display a positive attitude with willingness to tackle the tough assignments.
