Job Profile:
A well established capital equipment manufacturer located in Southwestern Ohio is seeking a hands-on Mechanical Design Engineer with a BSME and extensive experience. Knowledge of materials, especially metals is a must. Experience with plastics, pneumatics and springs is a plus. Experience designing for rugged environments, such as over the road is desired. Experience supporting a manufacturing environment desired. Experience performing DFMEA and FEA desired. An understanding of the APQP process is a plus. 3D design experience (Solid Edge) is required. Knowledge of vibration test fixture design is a plus.
This candidate must be able to take a project from start to finish - including design, test, project management and documentation. Documentation skills must be strong. Candidate must be able to communicate clearly, verbal and written.
Salary/Benefits:
Salary is commensurate with experience.
