Job Description:
A well established manufacturing company in Corona, CA is seeking an innovative Graphic Designer with exciting ideas and passion for all aspects of the design process. This position will support the needs of the entire marketing and technical department. The candidate will have responsibility for designing and producing a variety of graphics materials, informative presentations, creative advertisements, and other related marketing materials. Excellent design skills and the ability to self-direct and be well organized are a must. The preferred candidate must be PC & MAC proficient, deadline sensitive, and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Web, CAD and photography experience are a plus.

• Knowledge of HTML
• Mac and PC Proficient
Additional Desired Skills:

• Advanced Photography (proper shutter speeds, settings, etc…)
• Proof Reading & Editing Skills
• Experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks or similar (2D CAD and/or 3D CAD)

Job Description:
• Create clear, concise and creative graphics for advertisement projects. Will work closely with Marketing Department to produce smart and informative presentations and related materials
• Create eye catching designs for tradeshow booths, flyers and general advertising and marketing materials
• Create postcards, mailers, and company identity related materials
• Presentation materials include: booklets, handouts, labels, interactive CDs, etc...
• Turn technical and architectural drawings into comprehendible graphics
• Design ads to be published in top architectural and building magazines
• Maintain technical graphics of technical specifications, bulletins, and information manuals. Understanding of technical drawing and/or AutoCAD a plus
• Take high quality pictures of local completed projects (if applicable)
Qualifications:
• Must have a minimum of an Associates degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Computer Graphics, Multimedia, or Illustration or have 2 years minimum working experience
• Demonstrated excellence in graphic design skills and a high degree of innovation through a professional portfolio required
• Excellent analytical thinking and creative problem solving skills for visual information design are a must
• Strong communication skills, including writing, speaking, proofing and editing
• Must be able to project manage: taking projects from start to completion
• Must display continuous attention to detail and meet required deadlines
• Strong understanding of composition and layout is vital
• The ability to perform effectively as part of a multidisciplinary and diverse team
• Proficiency required in the Adobe CS2 or newer package (most notably Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign) Quark XPress and PowerPoint
• PC & MAC based platforms
• Working knowledge of Adobe Flash and DreamWeaver are a plus
• Advanced Photography skills a plus
• Understanding of AutoCAD and/or technical drawing a plus
