Currently, Chubb is seeking a Sr. Actuarial Analyst for the Whitehouse Station, NJ office.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
As a member of the Personal Auto Unit you will be responsible for providing CPI with the actuarial analysis necessary for Chubb to sustain profitability and maintain a competitive position within the auto/excess/yacht market. You can expect significant interaction with CPI Actuarial Management, Underwriting, IT, TIBUS and State Filings.
The major duties and responsibilities of this position include:
• Producing rate level indications for CPI’s top Auto states. • Developing detailed proposals for the implementation of TIBUS Pricing Segmentation into the rating plans for our top Auto states. • Making appropriate rate filings with state insurance departments. • Participating in an annual worldwide pricing study. • Participating in Auto strategic projects. • Other special projects as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Requirements Education Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree
Competencies/ Tech Skills Experience in personal lines is considered a plus, but not mandatory. The candidate should have one to four years of actuarial experience, preferably one to four actuarial exams and should have general familiarity with basic actuarial techniques. Proficiency in Excel, Access, and Focus is a plus. The individual must also possess excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to manage their time effectively to meet scheduled due dates.
