Job Description:
Mechanical Installers/Millwright Mechanical Installers who will perform on-site mechanical installation of parcel sort conveyor systems.
The contractors will be responsible to perform mechanical installation of materials and equipment. The average hours worked per week will be 55 but may change up or down as required to complete the required installation schedule.
Each selected individual will be required to provide their own hand tools listed below: 1. Wire Cutters, pair of dykes and side cutters 2. Straight and Phillip screw drivers 3. Terminating Screw driver 4. T square 5. 1 ea 9 torpedo level 6. 3/8 Metric and standard socket sets, deep and shallow, long and short extensions 7. Crimping tool for insulated and non-insulated 8. Hack saw 9. Needle nose pliers small and big 10. Protractor 11. Two pair of channel lock pliers that can grip up to 1 inch pipe 12. Standard, Metric ratchet wrenches 5/16 to 3/4, 8mm to 18mm 13. 1ea 25/30 tape measure 14. Small and large crescent wrenches 15. Wire strippers 16. Metric, standard, Allen socket sets 17. Rat tail and standard files 18. Fluke Ohms meter 19. 1ea Center punch All screw drivers, wire cutters, wire strippers, crimping tool and needle nose should be Klein Tools.
Job Requirements:
The skills required for this mechanical position are: 1. Good verbal and written communications skills 2. Must be mobile and able to lift up to 50 lbs. 3. Journeyman standing 4. Must have at least 3 years of verifiable mechanical experience 5. Trained and experienced in: Welding, Rigging, Conveyor Installation, Conveyor System Repair and Equipment Operation 6. This is a Non-Union project 7. Ability to work full time 8. Valid drivers license 9. Should not have a criminal back ground and pass a drug screen paid for by Supplier 10. Supplier site supervision will approve all contractors via resume and phone interview 11. Supplier will work with Siemens site supervision in a timely fashion in conducting day to day business decisions 12. Site supervision reserves the right to release a contractor without notice.
