Job Description:
The Candidate must have hands-on experience in radar systems design and be able to lead development programs involving new and innovative concepts. Experience should include an in depth understanding of radar waveform and mode design, requirements analysis, radar range equation modeling and simulation, hardware concepts and implementation, signal detection in high clutter environments, moving target extraction techniques, signal processing and algorithm design, and radar systems testing.
Candidate should have relevant experience with one or more of the following systems:
*Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR)
*Sense through the Wall (STTW) Radar
*High Range Resolution Doppler Radar Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR)
*Fire Control Radar
*Radar based concealed weapons detection systems
*RF Tomography
*Experience with GPR based mine detection technology is also strongly desired
Qualifications:
• MS in Math, Physics, or Engineering – PhD Is a plus
• 20 years + hands on experience in radar systems design and development
• System level requirements analysis and requirements allocation expertise
• Radar signal processing, modeling, and simulation
• MATLAB and/or MathCad modeling tools and techniques
• Hardware design experience is a plus
• U.S. citizenship and a DOD secret clearance (or the reasonable ability to obtain one) is required.
The candidate must be a self-starter who can work effectively in a small company environment and function with minimum supervision. Candidates must have a proven track record experience in radar systems design and be able to lead a team.
Salary will commensurate with experience.
