Job Description:
ROLES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develop innovative software from specifications and project plans defined by Technical Architects, Technical Leads and Project Managers and Product Managers.
• Validate provided project plans, tasks and provide estimates.
• Develop code that is peer reviewed, archived, statically checked, unit tested and documented according to department guidelines.
• Provide post release support and training to customers where appropriate.
• Integrate software where required and provide handover information.
• Co-operate in the .Net community to improve quality and professionalism.
• Build great software.
Job Requirements:
REQUIREMENTS:
Essential
• Solid experience with C#, focusing on web based technologies including ASP.NET, HTML, CSS and JavaScript
• Proven experience with Windows and IIS technologies
• Established experience with SQL
• Knowledge of the Web 2.0 concepts like AJAX and JSON
Desirable
• Plum tree on Windows using .Net 1.1, ASP and ASMX
• Experience with Static Code Analysis, Unit Testing, Code Coverage, Document generators and Source Control systems
• Some awareness of .Net 3.0 (e.g. WCF, WF, WPF and CardSpace)
• Some awareness of Sliverlight
• Educated to degree level in a computer related subject, and have solid, proven commercial software development experience in a team environment.
