As a Client Services Engineer, you will be working first-hand to configure and integrate the company's technology with client systems and working with customers to solve high level technical issues (no travel required). The Client Engineer is a key role in the Client Services team. The requirements of this role include working as a team with the internal Account Manager to deliver successful customer implementation, partner on-ramping, and change management. The Client Engineer will utilize our tools, technologies and processes to produce quality results in a timely fashion to meet and exceed project goals and client expectations. Tasks typically include various aspects of internet-based integration efforts between us, our clients systems, and our client’s trading partner’s systems. The Client Engineer will be committed to maintaining the highest degree of client satisfaction with every customer and trading partner.


Job Requirements:
Scope of Responsibilities

* Configuration of connections per customer and trading partner requirements

* On-ramping trading partners utilizing integration technologies such as FTP and HTTP

* Execution of change requests submitted by customers and/or trading partners

* Creation of document transformation maps and execution configurations using XSLT

* Management of work tasks resulting in timely delivery and client satisfaction

* Regular and timely communication of status to Account Manager, customer, trading partners, and other members of the team

* Work with internal Support to analyze and resolve customer incidents.

* Provide appropriate task documentation, following all standard processes and procedures.

* Recognize reusable procedures, templates, documents, models, etc. for broader “best practice” use.



Skills and Experience

* Minimum of 4 years relevant work experience in programming, system integration, and/or functional / technical analysis.

* Strong technical aptitude and desire to develop technical skills

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills. At least some experience talking with customers.

* Proven experience resulting in on-time and on-budget task delivery.

* Proven success in setting goals, managing expectations, and exceeding customer satisfaction metrics.

* Proven experience in teamwork and contribution to team to collectively meet project timelines.

* No travel required for this position.



Technical Skills – minimum understanding of the following (strong knowledge/scripting skills preferred):

* Web technology (HTTP protocols, SSL, digital certificates)

* FTP, SFTP, FTPs, SMTP

* XML/XSLT and schema languages

* EDI X12, EDIFACT, AS2, RosettaNet, or other standard protocol programming experience a plus

* Experience writing SQL queries
