Job Description:
• Responsible for solving technical problems in the solar cell packaging process.
• Able to understand device/package characterization issues and develop testing plans.
• Performs detailed analyses of solar cell packages through inspections and tests, prepares summary reports as appropriate.
• Executes product development efforts, experiments, and process runs.
• Uses experience and intuition to recommend innovations to improve product analysis, evaluation, and manufacturing.
• Works with engineering management to develop and initiate standards and methods for assembly, inspection, and testing.
Job Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree (BSEE, BSET, BS in Applied Science, or equivalent) from a four-year college or university and a minimum of two years hands-on related experience with semiconductor package assembly.
• Possesses an understanding of various semiconductor package process technologies including die attach, soldering, wire bonding, metallization, encapsulation, wafer probing, wafer sawing and die handling.
• Experience in SPC, and DOE.
