Senior Instructional Designer
We are looking for a Sr. Instructional Designer for our client who has for the fifth consecutive reporting period, been ranked highest in overall customer satisfaction among wireless telephone users in all six regions. They rank ahead of all other wireless carriers in the Northeast, West and Southwest regions, an area covering 28 of the 48 mainland states. They provide innovative wireless products and services help empower people to connect effortlessly to those who matter most.
This position will be responsible for designing and developing training materials to support the Engineering organization. You will manage all key aspects of the instructional design process, from project scoping and planning through course deployment and evaluation. Communicating with appropriate departments among all functional areas regarding project material, subject matter, and deadlines is a requirement of the Sr. Instructional Designer Position.
Job Requirements:
* Experience with Vendor Management.
* Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
* Knowledge of instructional design and adult learning theories
* High level of flexibility, creativity and dependability
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* Demonstrated ability to build effective training and development programs
* Proactive attitude
* Ability to work in a collaborative environment and work within aggressive timeframes
* Solid project planning and management skills
* Good working knowledge of MS Office applications, including: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
* Storyboarding experience
* Two or more years of leading/managing instructional design projects
* Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, English, Business, Communication or related field required (Master's Degree Preferred)
