Job Description: We're looking for an experienced and passionate Sr. Environment Artist for a large-budget next-generation military shooter. If you'd like to play a key role in the development of a fully funded AAA game that will also be used by America's leading military and intelligence organizations for training, we'd like to speak with you right away.
Our artists are involved in all aspects of each game's creation, including the brainstorming of level ideas, modeling, texturing, effects, etc. We believe in the value of small, cross-disciplined, passionate teams and strive to create an environment where exceptional people can create exceptional things.
We're looking for a Senior Artist with strong traditional and 3D skills who has shipped at least 2 game titles. We're especially interested in how you use color, light and texture to build realistic 3D environments with an eye for optimal use of polygons. You must have a solid understanding of game art production pipelines. Of course, you must be proficient in Photoshop and either 3ds Max or Maya. Knowledge of Zbrush or Mudbox is also a plus.
Job Requirements: • Must have at least 3+ years videogame industry experience. • Must have shipped at least 2 game titles, preferably on PS3 or Xbox 360 or both as a Senior Environment Artist. • Strong demonstrable skills and proficiency in either 3ds Max or Maya. • Strong demonstrable Photoshop skills and proficiency. • Strong traditional art skills. • Excellent communication skills and an ability to take direction and work effectively in a team-oriented environment. • College-level art degree or equivalent industry experience. • Demo reel that shows us all of the above. • Legal U.S. work authorization required
HELPFUL: • Conceptual art skills. • Knowledge of Zbrush or Mudbox. • Passion and enthusiasm for videogames.
