Title: Technical Support - Client Data Support Associate
Location: Denver, CO

Position Description:

Answers incoming client data questions by email or phone. Resolves client problems in a reasonable timeframe (as outlined below) and provides follow-up to appropriate departments and department head. Responsible for documenting data issue in Customer Relationship Management database with appropriate resolution and closure. Develops mutually beneficial relationships with outside data providers and state agency representatives.

General Job Duties:

Contact point for client data inquires or product questions. Opens a CRM ticket within 30 minutes of receipt and emails client immediately that issue has been received. (Entire US)

Must acquire and demonstrate knowledge and functionality for supported products and data repository.

Takes ownership for tracking, researching, and resolving all cases initially created

Initiates ongoing progress updates to client contact until final resolution is communicated.

Contribute and provide feedback to IT support on identified issues, bugs, and requested enhancements identified during entry system usage.

Maps well locations using GIS application to determine accuracy of well spot. Sends those in error to IHS queue or outside L&L vendor.

Interacts with State Regulatory agencies, outside data vendors (L&Ls), database Manager, scouts, production analysts, and regional supervisors to coordinate problem resolution.

Participates in large data integrity projects as requested by clients or internal data groups.

Required Education:
College degree
Required Experience:
Requires 2 years experience in the oil and gas industry including basic understanding of
petroleum industry terminology.
Proficient using Arcview, ArcGis, or other mapping software
Ability to run simple sql queries for DB analysis
Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite applications

Other skills:
Strong problem solving skills and ability to adhere to detailed instructions
Have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Be technically conversant in English.
Must be able to meet schedules and deadlines
Must be extremely well-organized and able to work in team environment
