Job Description:
DUTIES: You will be responsible for: (1) Acting as a senior network engineer in this global, complex, state of the art, high transaction environment; (2) Providing advanced network support and troubleshooting through resolution of advanced and complex routing and switching issues; (3) Hands on firewall and VOIP configuration, and troubleshooting through resolution; (4) Mentoring, and coaching of less technical staff in standards, technical configuration, advanced troubleshooting through resolution techniques, ‘best practices’, and networking/infrastructure diagram documentation; (5) Network design.
Job Requirements:
MUST come from a large, complex, high transaction environment.
5 years STRONG/CURRENT advanced network engineering with VERY STRONG CISCO IOS advanced configuration and OSI model troubleshooting.
MUST have STRONG/CURRENT advanced configuration and troubleshooting of protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and 802.1q.
MUST have STRONG/CURRENT advanced knowledge in load balancing, frame relay, MPLS, VLAN tagging, wireless technologies and circuits.
MUST have good skills with some flavor of UNIX.
MUST have outstanding communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, and leadership skills.
Pluses: CCNP.
