Job Description:
DUTIES: You will be responsible for: (1) Performing STORAGE INFRASTRUCTURE systems administration to include performance monitoring, performance tuning, installs, upgrades, backups, recoveries, capacity planning, system security in this complex, high transaction, large server, state of the art environment; (2) Troubleshooting through resolution of SAN and VIRTUALIZATION infrastructure hardware and software; (3) LINUX architecture and integration; (4) Storage Area Network (SAN) administration, support, and backup/recovery planning, strategy, execution; (5) VMware and virtualization design and management; (6) Core infrastructure design, implementation, and support; (7) Systems infrastructure computer operations on a daily basis; (8) Testing and maintenance of disaster recovery cycles; (9) Design, implementation, support of new hardware and software.
Job Requirements:
6 years or more of strong, current, deep UNIX or Linux systems administration in a high transaction, complex, state of the art LARGE SERVER environment.
Must have very, very strong experience administering STORAGE AREA NETWORKS (SANS).
Must have strong experience designing, implementing, supporting VMware.
Pluses: Oracle 10g RAC. RHCE. NACE or NACP certification. Brocade Silkworm SAN Switch. VCP certification.
