Job Description:
DUTIES: You will be responsible for: (1) Full Life Cycle development of web based and n-tier based applications to include development, maintenance, testing, debugging, documenting and integration of application software; (2) Working closely with application analysts and other team members to understand business requirements that drive the analysis and design of technical solutions that are in compliance with blueprints and business strategies; (3) Assisting in gathering business requirements from business users, and investigation and resolution of difficult support problems; (4) Playing a key and critical role in the conversion of legacy systems to new architecture and development in this .NET, J2EE, C++, ABAP, Oracle, Microsoft, Sharepoint, SAP global environment.
Job Requirements:
Must have STRONG/CURRENT expert level development skills in:
Visual Basic 6.0, VBScript, and MS SQL Server OR
.NET, ASP, MS SQL Server OR
.NET, ASP, Oracle OR
.NET, Java or J2EE, ASP OR
.NET and ABAP OR
Visual Basic 6.0, VBScript, and ABAP OR
Java and ABAP OR
J2EE and ABAP.
MUST have expert level development skills of web based solutions that are large and complex in nature.
MUST have experience actively participating in systems integration testing and all phases of implementation.
Shows commitment to continuous improvement in processes and application reliability.
Shows willingness to learn new technical skills as required.
Displays a “can do” positive attitude.
Willingness to provide on-call support for mission critical applications as required, following internal procedures to ensure SLAs are met.
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as necessary.
MUST have excellent English communication skills (verbal and written).
Personality traits: Must have a positive, “can do” attitude. Must be passionate about IT and view it as a career, not a job. Must have a desire to learn new technologies and must have a zeal for improving efficiency and effectiveness.
Pluses: Spanish language proficiency. SAP ABAP programming. C#. MS Visual Source Safe. MS Sharepoint Server 2.0 or above. COM. COM+.
