Job Description:
DUTIES: You will be responsible for: (1) Designing and programming interfaces between systems in this global SAP, Java, .NET, C++, UNIX, Windows, Oracle state-of-the-art environment; (2) Designing and developing data integration between applications; (3) Working closely with application analysts and other team members to understand business requirements that drive the analysis and design of technical solutions that are in compliance with blueprints and business strategies; (4) Gathering business requirements from business users and assisting in the investigation and solution of difficult support problems; (5) Troubleshooting application and system issues and providing on call support for mission critical applications where and when needed.
Job Requirements:
3 years of CURRENT/STRONG programming with a focus on integration between applications and developing interfaces between applications and systems. STRONG understand of OO (object oriented) design and development.
Must fit one of the following technical profiles (1 or 2 or 3):
Strong .NET development with a key strength in data integration between applications and developing interfaces between systems. MUST have STRONG/CURRENT VBScript and ASP and database queries with MS SQL Server or Oracle.
Strong JAVA programming with some .NET exposure or SAP ABAP programming experience where your focus has been developing interfaces and integrating different applications and/or systems.
Strong Visual Basic 6 programming with SAP where your focus has been integrating different systems and developing interfaces to different systems.
Must have excellent English language (oral and written) communication skills.
MUST be able to do domestic and international travel when necessary.
MUST be able to organize and construct presentation material for various levels of internal customers.
MUST have experience with change management guidelines and protocols.
Not required, the ideal candidate would have deep and broad experience in Visual Basic 6, .NET, Java, J2EE, C++, ABAP, VBScript, JavaScript, ASP, XML, MS SQL Server, Oracle, SAP, OPC Server, SAP portal.
Personality traits required: Must have a can-do attitude. Must have a passion for IT and for exceeding expectations. Must be forward thinking, and solution focused.
Pluses:
Spanish language proficiency. SAP ABAP programming. C#. MS Visual Source Safe. MS Sharepoint 2.0 or above. COM. COM+.
