Job Description:
DUTIES: You will be responsible for: (1) Performing both SAP applications analysis and SAP technical design and development; (2) Business requirements gathering, design, configuration, programming and production support in the areas of data extraction from SAP and non-SAP source systems; (3) , ABAP/SQL programming for data extraction/data storage/data conversion/data transfers in SAP BW; (4) Data modeling along with creation and modification of star schema diagrams; (5) Analysis, architecture, design, programming, testing and support of SAP BI solutions; (6) Providing technical and functional direction in the analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, maintenance and enhancement of SAP BI projects; (7) Creation, design, and maintenance of cubes, InfoSets, extractors, interfaces, Multi-Providers, etc.; (8) Developing, implementing, and documenting processes and standards in regard to SAP BW; (9) Utilizing best practices for BI deployments; (10) Providing design specifications and developing programs for data conversions and transfers; (11) Creating or modifing data models and star schema diagrams pertinent to each initiative; (12) Providing estimates for projects and tasks; (13) Ensuring validity and accuracy of BW data; (14) Designing and developing reconciliation mechanisms between BW and source systems; (15) Developing and troubleshoot EPM scripts for job automation scheduling; (16) Acting as the SAP QAS backup resource supporting QAS user groups and resolving issues related to gauge, application interfaces, usability, report and alarm monitoring, etc.; (17) Gathering business requirements, analyzing needs against system functionality, designing and configuring system, writing technical specifications for FIREC objects (forms, interfaces, reports, enhancements, and conversions), testing, developing procedures and training materials, delivering end user training, and coordinating and supporting go live(s); (18) Identifying KPI-based metrics for various business functions and design & assist in the deployment of dashboards for the metrics; (19) Acting as the first line of support for end user configuration and enhancement requests; (20) Creating/updating project plan, tasks, milestones, etc. using the Microsoft Project Server tool; (21) Analyzing and correcting process and configuration problems as they occur in production systems; (22) Performing unit testing and integration testing; (23) Ensuring consistency of application relevant configuration across the system landscape and all business units; (24) Designing enterprise level application and custom integration solutions including major enhancements, interfaces, functions, and features.



Job Requirements:
STRONG/CURRENT SAP BW experience currently acting as SAP BW Analyst with both technical and functional SAP BW experience for a MANUFACTURING company.

Three years of SAP BW and at least one full lifecycle SAP BW implementation, including release upgrades and new system or module configuration.

Must have at least two years ABAP and/or Oracle SQL and a minimum of 1 year in design and development of data extraction solutions.

Must have data modeling along with creation and modification of star schema in BW and data extraction from SAP and non-SAP source systems into BW.

Must have experience coordinating a variety of tests (unit, string, integration, security, and performance) and participating in the change management process.

Must have knowledge of appropriate change control procedures for moving new configurations or maintenance programs through the landscape.

MUST have experience conducting impact analyses and coordinating testing related to application of regular software patches and upgrades.

Must have demonstrated leadership capacity by acting as a team leader, project leader, or project manager on a SAP project.

MUST have good knowledge of the processes, transactions, database structures related to the various functional modules in SAP R3.

MUST have excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.

Personality traits required: Works well independently or as part of a team. Able to influence decisions and act as a SME (Subject Matter Expert). Enjoys coaching and mentoring less experienced staff.
