Job Description:
The designer will be involved in developing and designing mechanical modifications for the nuclear power industry and will work on a multi-discipline project team engaged in the design of new systems and modifications and upgrades to existing nuclear power plant systems.
Duties include:
Work with customers and outside engineering firms to resolve design and installation issues.
Consult and coordinate with other disciplines to assure compliance with ENERCON standards and codes as well as client requirements and criteria.
Assure compliance with company and customer practices and provide miscellaneous support for engineers and be willing to assist and mentor junior designers.
Job Requirements:
Experience in nuclear, fossil or process industries is preferred.
Proficient with various CAD systems including MicroStation/IRAS-B and AutoCad/Raster Design. Proficient with various CAD systems including MicroStation/IRAS-B and AutoCad/Raster Design.
Familiar with MS Office Products WORD, EXCEL and POWERPOINT.
Ability to work in a team and provide technical support to the mechanical design group.
Candidates should possess strong skill sets in some of the following areas but be knowledgeable in most:
Prepare Mechanical Piping System drawings such as Piping Plans/Details, General Arrangements, P & ID's, Isometrics, BOM's required for plant modifications including field walkdowns, researching and gathering of affected baseline documents for various Nuclear/Non-Nuclear Power Plants.
