Job Description:
Architect needed to assist in all phases of architectural practice in the downtown offices. The following duties are typical of the position, but are not all encompassing. Each person is expected to help in whatever duties are required to deliver a quality product, on schedule. The ideal candidate plans and manages projects, with team participation, on projects involving medical, educational, municipal, religious and general commercial expertise. This person provides leadership to individuals within the organization. Responsible for the success of the projects under his/her management (including planning, quality assurance, deadlines and financial aspects, including collections). Plans, organizes and supervises the work of the projects assigned, utilizing in-house staff, which may include a team of architects, lead designer, engineers and technicians. Monitors project costs to ensure that the project is delivered within budget and/or fulfills customer expectations and company specific strategic objectives. Prepares project work plan (inclusive of the work processes plan) in conjunction with the project team. Prepares project budget, becomes fully aware of contract terms and conditions and understands scope of services.
