Job Description:
Responsibilities: Lead a project team to develop high quality designs for new and existing projects, may be required to work on multiple large scale projects at a time. Existing projects include development and redevelopment for universities, city neighborhoods, waterfronts, new cities, rural districts, downtown commercial cetners and inter-modal transportation centers. Coordinate and direct the layout, design, drafting and specifications. Maintain project schedules and budgets to promote successful project completeion based on client satisfaction and profitability. Mentor staff in the technical aspect of design and project coordination. Requirements & Competencies: An architect and urban Design professional with 3 - 8 years of expereince. Bachelors/Masters degree in Architecture or Urban Design. Passion for larger urban projects including multiple buildings and highly developed and articulated public spaces. Experience with Reuse, Mult-use and Sustainable design Licensed Architect LEED AP preferred Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of peers, managers, consulatnts and clients. Excellen graphic, verbal, and written communication skills.
