Job Description:
Responsibilities As Senior Environmental Planner, client and project management responsibilities will include working on behalf of clients to manage and prepare CEQA/NEPA environmental documents, planning studies; develop and manage scopes, schedules and budgets; coordinate with appropriate stakeholders including client and regulatory agencies; and prepare proposals for and participate in interviews for prospective project work.. Qualifications and Experience The right candidate will have 8 years of experience managing and preparing environmental/planning studies and reports for small to large projects and have a comprehensive knowledge of the CEQA/NEPA processes. In addition the candidate will be highly organized and self-motivated, able to work independently and as part of a team, have strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills, be comfortable working in a deadline-oriented environment, and have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Prior consulting experience a plus. Education B.S. / M.S. in environmental planning, science/planning, urban planning, public policy or related field
