Job Description:
The candidate selected for this position will primarily be responsible for producing drawings, sketches, specification, and other technical documents that comply with client requirements, company policy, and applicable codes.
Performs complex drafting work, which involves producing and detailing plans and structures, manually or electronically. The individual will calculate material quantities, prepare specifications, checking notes, computations, and estimates. The individual will work under the limited supervision of the Drafting Manager with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. He/she will be responsible for supervising and training other employees.
Job Requirements:
A minimum of a High School diploma or a GED is required. At least 10 years of experience in drafting work or 8 years in the tank industry. The ability to supervise and train others is required.
