Job Description:
Manager of Engineering Services Are you someone with a passion for engineering and the leadership to direct a division? If so, the City of Grand Island has an exciting opportunity w/ excellent wages & benefits for you. Serve as the chief engineer in the design and construction of streets, sewers, structures and other public facilities. Serve as technical advisor to the City Administrator, Mayor, City Council, Public Works Director, and to other departments. A minimum of five years of experience in engineering and public works administration is required. A minimum of two years experience in an administrative supervisory capacity is required. A bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field is req'd. Registered Professional Engineer in the State of Nebraska is required. Possession of, or ability to obtain, an appropriate, valid Nebraska's driver's license. Post-offer / pre-employment physical and drug screen.
