Job Description:
The ideal candidate will have experience working in or with a public sector organization with respect to community planning, development review, zoning, and land use; a master\'s degree in urban planning, regional planning, economic development, or related discipline; at least eight years of executive leadership with a municipal agency in a major city; managerial experience in municipal, regional, state or federal planning, design and development, zoning, economic development or land use for a large urban community; experience working with citizen groups, elected officials, government agencies, and business interests in developing projects, strategies and policy. American Institute of Certified Planners Certification preferred. American Planning Association membership desirable.
