RESPONSIBILITIES With minimal direction, works with users and business analysts, prepares work breakdown structure for projects Manages mid-size or multiple smaller projects with minimal supervision and direction. Manages all aspects of a project with direct accountability for project execution while managing a project team Gathers project estimates for tasks Develops and maintains project plans Calculates and factors in project risks to schedule and budgets Establishes appropriate working bodies for projects (Steering committees, stakeholder groups) Establishes communications plans and performs all key project communications Gathers and analyzes project metrics and reports on ongoing status of projects managed Manages project information within overall portfolio management system Teams with senior leadership and the application development group or suppliers to ensure a timely, accurate and cost effective solution to IT business needs. Helps partner with functional business unit members on how to work with IT. Meets face-to-face with clients as necessary. Education/Qualifications Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, Healthcare Management or related field. Experience REQUIREMENTS: Minimum 8 years experience in information systems.
