Firm is looking for a Financial Manager to assist the Executive Director in overseeing the agency\'s $1.7 million operating budget. This is a newly-created, strategic role for the organization that requires a combination of routine billing and bookkeeping tasks with solid financial analysis. This resource needs to be flexible enough to handle the ordinary and skilled enough to make significant contributions to our financial competency. Ongoing responsibilities of the Financial Manager include: -Preparing monthly and annual financial statements. -Formulating and delivering additional standard reports useful for the financial management of the agency. -Supervising staff responsible for financial activities and accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, purchasing, payroll, bank reconciliations, audit, insurance and monitoring of cash flow. -Coordinating annual audit. -Assisting the Executive Director with other special projects or efforts to support the agency\'s growth. -As needed, training and supervising staff on fiscal procedures, budget management and use of accounting software. Strategic responsibilities of the Financial Manager include: -Ongoing evaluation of contract portfolio and assistance with pricing. -Assisting Executive Director and board\'s business planning efforts through scenario analysis, especially with respect to fleet composition and staffing. Additional Qualifications: - Five years of comparable work experience.
