Description We seek an individual to serve in a new senior management role to elevate the level of our existing risk management and oversight capabilities across all of our lines of business and corporate operations globally. This person will work in partnership with senior business leaders, the company's risk oversight committees, and other risk management functions to protect Capital as an organization.Reporting to our Senior Vice President and Chief Compliance Officer, this individual will possess superior leadership qualities, a deep knowledge of audit and risk management practices, and wide ranging business acumen. The role is not limited in scope to financial or regulatory risks, and will delve deeply into operational issues of many kinds. Based out of our Los Angeles office, he/she will be responsible for the following:Partner with senior business managers throughout Capital to identify, assess and prioritize business risks and influence the successful implementation of strategies and methodologies to manage those risksAssist with designing and building a robust, sustainable business risk framework that advances Capital's capability to closely review key risk areas within our primary business lines on an ongoing basis.
