As a Chubb Specialty Insurance (CSI) Territory Manager/Executive Protection Senior Underwriter, you are accountable for:
• Financial performance of a $7.6 million book of commercial business.
• Achieving profitable growth for the Cincinnati Branch.
• Successful market penetration and agency management including Business Planning and coordination for all of CSI in the territory.
o Acting as a key contact to build, maintain and manage customer/broker relationships including regular travel..
o Identifying opportunities for growth within new and existing production sources including partnering with law firms, accounting firms, etc.
o Performing front door management to filter new business and reinforce appetite and manage the public strategy within the territory.
o Conduct agency planning and goal setting including continual monitoring of progress.
• Representing one face to the customer for all Executive Protection products and services, including identifying cross sell opportunities.
• Predominately responsible for soliciting, risk selection and analysis (including documentation), pricing and sales of Forefront, Not-for-profit and LMT products and services for new business.
• Meeting with new and renewal customers to make sales presentations and negotiate coverage''s, price, financial terms and service delivery, as necessary.
• Working in a team environment with Underwriters, Public Underwriting Center (PUC), USB (Underwriting Service Branch), Claims and Operations.
• Meeting service standards of a customer focused strategy.
• Collecting and sharing competitor data with team.
Job Requirements:
Knowledge, skills and abilities:
• Solid knowledge of commercial Executive Protection underwriting and insurance industry theories and practices
• Demonstrated technical expertise and product specific knowledge
• Proven, successful sales skills
• Strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills. Ability to effectively interact with all levels of internal and external business partners.
• Experience developing marketing plans
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite as well as other business-related software
Education and Experience:
• Bachelor''s degree or equivalent experience
• Preferred minimum three to five years of underwriting experience
