Job Description:
Responsibilities: Project management of construction materials testing projects, including testing of soils, foundations, reinforced and post-tensioned concrete, masonry, structural steel, fireproofing and asphalt pavement. Additional Responsibilities include application of technical support, daily review of field reports, monitoring project process, performance and budgetary conditions, assisting with marketing to new and existing clients, proposal preparation, business development, as well as attending project site meetings and assisting with the resolution to both technical and administrative problems. Depending on the level of the candidate, you could function as the Assistant Department Manager of the group. Requirements Qualifications: BS in Civil Engineering or related field. 2-4 years related experience. Proficiency in oral and written communication, and strong project management skills. Understanding of soil mechanics, evaluation techniques and experience in managing construction materials testing projects. PE track candidates preferred.
