Responsibilities: You will supervise Heavy Equipment Service Techs and a Police Fleet Technician.The primary responsibility will be scheduling preventative maintenance work on both light and heavy vehicles.You will work closely with the parts supply room to make sure required parts are on hand and in the correct fleet maintenance location.You will develop and implement staff training and development plans to provide cross training of employees, specific job related training, and other approaches to provide opportunities for staff flexibility and development.You will interview and selects staff reporting directly to this position and assists with other interviews as required.You will develop the performance evaluation program for functions within the unit, monitor and document employee performance, provide ongoing feedback regarding levels of performance and formally evaluate employees in relation to performance.Knowledge of an automated Fleet Maintenance System is strongly preferred. Qualifications: You must give a complete job history on your application and make sure you put your qualifying experience on your application in order to be considered for this position - no exceptions. Graduation from high school or possession of a Certificate required.Three years of automotive servicing experience conducting the servicing and minor repair work on automotive equipment.Possession of a valid Colorado Class Rť Driver\'s License at the time of application.
