Job Description:
Manages and directs the day to day operations of a research center/institute or medium sized department. Plans, coordinates and supervises the operaton and activities of the center/institute/department. Develops and implements policies and procedures, administers the budget, organizes tasks and sets priorities.

Job Requirements:
Ph.D. degree in biochemistry, pharmacology, bioorganic chemistry, molecular biology or related field. Three to five years hands-on research in the area of genomics or related areas of molecular biology. Academic or industrial experience is acceptable.
Additional education may substitute for experience on a year for year basis.
