Currently, Chubb is seeking a Claim Examiner - Employment Practices Liability for the Simsbury, CT office.
Responsibilities include:
Preparing initial coverage analyses on claims reported to the company by insureds, monitoring the development of the claims while assisting the insureds in their satisfactory resolution, litigation management and interaction with outside defense counsel, and assisting the underwriters in coverage analysis questions and marketing of products to brokers and insureds.

Skills and Knowledge:
This position requires claims or litigation experience involving general liability, business litigation or employment practices liability experience. Other requirements include understanding of the legal principles giving rise to claims which are afforded coverage by the insurance policies sold, strong analytical skills, precise oral and written communication skills, and excellent attention to detail.
Education:
Four year college degree required.
