Job Description:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Building a market presence and identifying project opportunities. Preparing technical write-ups, cost proposals and schedules for identified opportunities the firm decides to pursue. Representing the firm at industry associations and professional society meetings. Keeping the ownership informed of market dynamics and competitive activity. Establishing client relations with various federal, state and local agencies dealing with transportation and infrastructure projects. REQUIREMENTS B.A. in Architecture, MA preferred, Registered Architect Minimum of 15 years of experience with at least 5 years of management experience Strong managerial skills Experience managing client and consultant relationships throughout the project process. Individuals must have experience coordinating project goals, budget and schedules. Strong and effective leadership skills are a must. Experience in large-scale institutional projects including retail, transportation, military and some hospitality Ability to manage multiple projects, as well as coordinate with professional design and construction teams, staff and clients. The position also requires construction administration experience and mature judgment in planning, organizing, and executing these program management duties. Additional skill sets and abilities with respect to project scheduling, fiscal budgeting and management, real estate acquisition support and due diligencedesign oversight including coordination with vendors and value engineering initiatives are essential.
