Responsibilities Extensive experience applying expertise in advanced principles and practices of engineering or architecture to investigate and provide consultative services on the entire range of systems, processes, and components inherent in the design, maintenance, and construction of new facilities, and related structures; to resolve unique or novel problems, conditions, issues; and/or significantly alter standard practices, equipment, devices, processes and known techniques.Experience with engineering and architectural needs of the military and also with the execution of Civil Works and Environmental concerns.Experience and skill in evaluating and incorporating the latest developments in the design and construction of infrastructure facilities into policy requirements or program objectives for use within the command, and to provide expert advice to senior colleagues and/or agency officials responsible for broad program operationsExperience executing significant projects representing an important segment of the agency's operation programs, or affecting the welfare of the public, and/or the sustainability of natural resources and the environment.Your pay will be set within the range specified in this vacancy announcement and will be based on your qualification, education, experience, training, and availability of funds. positions are excluded from time-in-grade restrictions. Only degrees from an accredited college or university recognized by the Department of Education are acceptable to meet positive education requirements or to substitute education for experience.
