Responsibilities Leadership and support for the creation of the State Development Plan; Planning assistance to state agencies and in some instances local governments; State and local planning program review GIS planning services and support; Policy support for environmental conservation, land preservation, natural resources protection, recreation planning, Bay restoration efforts; Modeling support to MDP in anticipation of future needs as they relate to growth and development. Technical support for the Patuxent River Commission; Parcel and land use information for planning purposes Staffing and assistance to the Secretary and Deputy Secretary MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor degree in Planning or closely related field. Experience: Nine years of planning experience with three years at management level.
