Job Description:

This translates into following up on emails and phone calls from people and organizations excited about doing book drives, giving them ideas, answering questions and finally entering their information into our database and providing them with an African partner and shipping information. On the African side, the Operations Assistant would enter our African partners into the database and eventually learn how to work with these partners to help shape their library projects. We need a positive, detail-oriented individual that can communicate well via email and on the phone. A minimum six month initial commitment to this job is required plus an estimated 10-15 hours/week. Training will be provided in how to use our database and tracking systems. The Operations Assistant could work from home, with monthly meetings with ALP's founder. (after initially being trained).
