Our primary mission is to repair facial deformities in children in developing countries at no cost to the children or families with an emphasis on cleft palate and cleft lip. The Medical Volunteer Manager is the liaison responsible for optimizing medical volunteer engagement with Operation Smile. The manager will develop and execute an engagement plan for medical volunteers that include outreach, recruitment, recognition and appreciation, plus regular interaction & feedback from the medical volunteers while maintaining volunteer records required for credentialing Utilizing both volunteer & development databases, the Medical Volunteer Manager is a center point for inquiries from current medical volunteers, will seek to leverage their networks to grow our volunteer base, connect them to teams and senior staff within the organization and implement retention strategies. Additional Qualifications: Candidates must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to facilitate relationships and interests between Medical Volunteers and various departments within Operation Smile.
